Greater Noida Authority is taking action against builders for unpaid flat registrations

ACEO Saumya Srivastava is overseeing the registration of 1,431 flats that remain unregistered in projects approved by the Amitabh Kant Committee. She has directed that buyers who are unresponsive will receive final cancellation notices. In a critical meeting with CREDAI representatives and builder groups, she emphasized the importance of registering flats quickly. She made it clear that builders must register the flats in buyers’ names without delay. Those who do not comply risk losing the benefits offered under the Amitabh Kant Committee guidelines. She also asked builders to cancel registration requests from buyers who are not responding without good reason.

Out of the total flats, 2,841 registrations have already been completed. Still, nine projects benefiting from the committee’s relaxations have 1,431 flats left unregistered. These flats are in projects where all payments have been cleared, and the Authority has already issued Occupancy Certificates and registration permissions.

This meeting followed orders from CEO Ravi Kumar N.G., who directed the builder department to work with CREDAI for immediate registration. In the meeting, held in the Authority’s boardroom, Srivastava was joined by Snehlata from the builder department, CREDAI Secretary Nikhil Havelia, Manish Gupta, and others from the builder community.

Srivastava stressed that builders cannot delay registration anymore. She urged them to follow through without hesitation. She also asked buyers to come forward and complete their registration process as soon as possible.

The projects with pending registrations include Vihan Developers in Sector-1 with 83 flats, Domus Green in Zeta-1 with 196 flats, Nirala Project in Sector-2 with 137 flats, Capital Infratech in Sector-1 with 244 flats, Mahalaxmi Infrahomes in Omicron-3 with 125 flats, Purvanchal Project in Chi-4 with 94 flats, Ames Golf Town Developers in Sector-4 with 285 flats, SJP Infracon in Sector-16B with 99 flats, and Rudra Buildwell Construction in Sector-16 with 168 flats.
