KNOT secures $3 million in funding to speed up growth as Mumbai’s top fashion delivery service

KNOT has raised $3 million to expand as Mumbai’s fastest fashion delivery service. The quick commerce platform aims to grow its reach and change the way India shops for clothes. It is introducing a 60-minute delivery model in Mumbai, along with its popular Try ‘n Buy feature, which is quickly catching on with Gen Z and millennial shoppers.

Founded in 2025 by IIT Bombay grads Archit Nanda and Rachit Bansal, KNOT came after they shifted from their previous startup, Slick. They identified a big gap in how people find and buy fashion online. “We didn’t want to just sell clothes,” said Nanda. “We wanted to change how people experience fashion—making it quick, easy, and accessible. Quick commerce has already transformed food, groceries, and essentials. We believe fashion is next.”

Since launching, KNOT has partnered with over 70 brands like SNITCH, Bonkers Corner, The Souled Store, The Bear House, and Off Duty. It now handles thousands of orders each month, serving a growing group of customers who value speed, choice, and curated fashion.

The company’s recent funding round was led by Kae Capital, with support from Sparrow Capital, Boundless Ventures LLP, Kumar Saurabh (Aukera Jewellery), and former investors WEH Ventures and All In Capital. The founders of SNITCH, Souled Store, and Bonkers Corner also participated. The funds will help improve the product, grow outside Mumbai, and build more brand partnerships.

Sunitha Viswanathan of Kae Capital said, “Online fashion needs to catch up with what consumers want today. Gen Z buyers want faster service, better selection, and trust. KNOT is working hard to create a new shopping space for this group. We’re happy to support their growth, as they aim to become India’s main fashion marketplace for the next generation.”

KNOT offers key features like:

  • 60-Minute Delivery: Customers get their orders in under an hour, perfect for last-minute plans, impulsive buys, or daily wear.
  • Try ‘n Buy: Customers can try on items at home and return what doesn’t work immediately, making online shopping more flexible.
  • AI Try-On: A virtual tool helps users see how styles look before they buy, which lowers returns and makes choices easier.

The company also connects with the culture by using community content and influencer insights. Through short videos, honest reviews, and local events, KNOT makes shopping fun and relatable.

Siddharth Dungarwal, founder of SNITCH and one of KNOT’s backers, said, “Speed is what matters today. KNOT is shaping the future of fast, fresh, and bold fashion delivery. I’m proud to support a team that changes how style reaches people’s doors.”

The new funds will allow KNOT to improve its products, expand outside Mumbai, and add more brand partners.

KNOT’s growth shows how Indian fashion is getting faster, more personal, and more experience-focused. With a generation that hates waiting, KNOT is delivering.
