Brigade Group has purchased a 20.19-acre piece of land in Bengaluru for ₹588.33 crore. The company plans to build homes, shops, and offices on the site. They announced in a filing that the land is along Whitefield–Hoskote Road in east Bengaluru.
The area is one of the city’s fastest-growing zones, close to IT parks, factories, and new infrastructure. Brigade aims to create a mixed-use project with an estimated value of ₹5,200 crore. The development will cover about 4.2 million square feet and include residential, commercial, and retail spaces.
The land was bought directly by Brigade’s subsidiary, Ananthay Properties Private Limited.
“Our goal is to build spaces where people can live, work, and enjoy leisure,” said Pavitra Shankar, managing director of Brigade Enterprises. “Whitefield–Hoskote is set for rapid growth, and we want to help shape its future.”
In January, Brigade signed a deal to develop a 20-acre residential project on Whitefield–Hoskote Road, with a value of around ₹2,700 crore. This project will have about 2.5 million square feet of homes and cost approximately ₹630 crore.
The company also signed an agreement in April for a plotted development project in East Bengaluru with a projected value of ₹175 crore. This 20-acre site in Malur offers space for nearly half a million square feet of homes. It will be Brigade’s first plotted development in that part of the city.
In June 2024, Brigade launched Brigade Insignia, a premium residential project in Yelahanka. It includes six towers with 379 units of 3, 4, and 5 BHK homes on a 6-acre plot. The project expects to generate around ₹1,100 crore in revenue.
