CapitaLand of Singapore plans a $2.2 billion investment

CapitaLand Investment will invest 192 billion rupees in Maharashtra by 2030. This plan will boost its presence in Mumbai and Pune. The real estate firm announced this Tuesday. This investment supports its India growth. CapitaLand aims for 15 billion Singapore dollars under management by 2028. It currently manages over 8 billion Singapore dollars.

The company’s investments will focus on business parks and data centers. Logistics and industrial parks are also included. These are in India’s western state. CapitaLand has operated there since 2013. CEO Sanjeev Dasgupta stated the company will use its trust CLINT. Private funds and the Ascendas-Firstspace platform will also scale up investments. The firm, backed by Temasek, invested 68 billion rupees recently. This covered ten assets over ten years.

These included business parks, data centers, and logistics facilities. CapitaLand has operated in India for over thirty years. It manages more than 55 IT parks and business parks. Data centers and other assets are also part of its portfolio.
