Bollywood star Sonu Sood buys land in Panvel

Sonu Sood, the Bollywood actor, and his son Eshaan Sood purchased a plot of land for Rs 1.05 crore in Shirdon, Panvel Taluka. Property records from Square Yards show the deal closed in October this year.

The site covers 0.0650 hectares. It cost Rs 6.3 lakh in stamp duty and Rs 30,000 in fees. Panvel sits in a hot real estate area of the Mumbai region.

Its spot near the Mumbai-Pune Expressway and Panvel-Karjat rail line draws buyers and residents. New projects like the Navi Mumbai Airport, Atal Setu bridge, and fresh industrial and school zones boost the place. Panvel now pulls in investors who want good links, low costs, and easy living.

In August this year, Eshaan Sood grabbed an apartment in Andheri West, Mumbai, for Rs 2.6 crore, per the records. The unit has 83.61 sq. m of carpet space under RERA and 100.37 sq. m built-up. Stamp duty hit Rs 15.6 lakh, with Rs 30,000 in fees.
