IHG® Hotels & Resorts has signed an agreement with Kevit Retreats Private Limited to develop the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Pithampur. The hotel is set to open in early 2028 and supports IHG’s plan to grow in areas with high demand. It aims to fill the need for quality hotels in smaller markets across India.
The hotel will be ideally located in a growing industrial zone. It will be part of a large mixed-use site with factories, warehouses, and logistics centers. This location will attract business travelers coming to the region’s auto and industrial hubs.
The hotel will offer 150 comfortable rooms, two dining options, modern meeting spaces, a fitness center, and plenty of parking. It will provide guests with a convenient and pleasant stay.
Sudeep Jain, Managing Director of IHG South West Asia, said the project shows IHG’s focus on new markets. Pithampur is an important industrial city in Madhya Pradesh, especially for automotive and pharma industries. As business travel increases there, the hotel will serve short-term travelers who need quick, practical stays. Jain expressed satisfaction with partnering with Kevit Retreats for this project.
