Thiruverkadu police arrested three men for a real estate broker’s murder. The victim, Sivakumar, 47, worked in real estate. He collected his children from school daily. On Friday, he stopped to relieve himself while riding his auto. Two attackers on a motorcycle followed him. They used machetes to strike him and then fled. Police investigated and arrested Lal Prakash, 35, a known offender. His associate Mohan, 20, also faced arrest. They confessed to the crime. They said Suresh of Thiruverkadu hired them. Suresh is also a real estate broker. Police stated Suresh saw Sivakumar as an obstacle. This was due to an improper relationship. Financial problems in Sivakumar’s business dealings are also suspected.
